Soloist question

Anyone know what the wheelbase on a 56cm is?

I've gotten measurements of 99.34983948394838 cm and 97.79cm... On the web I seem to keep finding the same two conflicting measurements... I'm trying to set up my new rollers :(

I'm sure DannoZ could work it out from these measurements

Center to front wheel is 593mm
Center to rear wheel is 399mm
BUT, the BB drop is 68mm

According to the setup instructions from the Kreitler website --- "THE AXLE OF THE FRONT WHEEL SHOULD BE JUST BEHIND THE AXLE OF THE FRONT DRUM (not to exceed ¾”)." Couldn't you just put the bike up on the rollers, take a plumbob and line up the two axles according to these instructions?

sounds like he doesn't have his bike yet and he's excited.

there's no standard wheelbase for a 56cm bike.

Piece of cake. Add up F + R:

F = SQRT (593^2 - 68^2) = 589
R = SQRT (399^2 - 68^2) = 393

F + R = 982mm wheelbase

Why not just pull out a tape and measure between the axles?

sounds like no, i listed a specific bike if you can't read, buddy...

and I did Danno, thats where i got the 97.79 measurement... but I figure I might as well just wait for the email reply from cervelo... the reason I question it is the 1000mm measurement LOOKS right.. but the 970mm is supposed to be right, but it seems like my wheel would be right over the roller, and isnt it supposed to be a bit behind it? I've never used rollers before

ed: for the record, the rollers (minoura) have 97cm and 100cm brackets... I dunno if this is standard or anything, like I said.. first set of rollers
