just stumbling around
Recently I was goofin off and stumbled over an old 10 speed bike that was given to me to ride.I can't even tell ya what it is,all it says A/Pro. thats it.I really can't tell ya any thing else.
Also I was messing around today and found a old Motobecane.I don't know much about these bikes except that most of you guys don't seem to like them.
My A/pro looks almost exactly like the Motobecane.Any way I am going to get my A/Pro done do I can have a roadie to ride.
what do ya think?

Old Motobecanes are not the bikes that people are ragging on here. Motobecane was an old French company that built pretty good bikes. They went out of business a few years ago. A company associated with Bikesdirect bought the American rights to the name. They buy excess inventory from other companies and rebadge them with the Motobecane name and sell them on the internet.
I have no idea what your bike is. I would recommend that you post a few pictures of it on the Classic and Vintage forum.

I would love to post some pictures, and I may sometime soon.I just haven't been able to yet.I can tell you that the motobecane is not pronounced heavily on the sides like they are now.just a little set of wings on the bar under the seat post.maybe really small on the cross tube but it is hard to tell since the bike is sitting outside and has been basicly abandond.(it is at a little home repair shop that is like a hobbie shop and the bikes there don't move at all.same ones for years outside)
The front wheel has little grooves in it to help with stopping ( I am assuming)It doesn't feel overly heavy but hard to guess at that.
Thanks
