Thread Bump.
Its been almost 5 months since last post. New Lemond owners - lets see them.

(unfortunately, since thread title is Lemonds (plural), I think many people don't find it as they only search for Lemond).

All it needs is a Fizik Allanti and some round bend bars, then I would like it.

My 06 Versailles, I picked it up new in November on closeout.

This is when I first got it, Since then I have taken a few things off. Put look p357 pedals on, cages. Cateye Micro, and everything else is stock.

One of my first real rides ~75 miles. Stopped at Legion State Park, to take a look at the camping.

LeMond Aple d'Huez. Her name is Saoirse, it means Freedom in Gaelic.

Sweet ride. I love the name!

I have yet to name any of my rides, though I might take your approach and do the same with my native tongue!

Any plans to go clipless on that steed?

TheNessaHeart 04-05-08 12:07 PM

I don't think I have any Irish heritage but she just looks so Irish to me that she had to have a Gaelic name.

As far as going for clipless pedals, I just started seriously cycling, so its just a matter of time until I give in a buy a pair.

Whats your native language?

veggiemafia 04-05-08 12:42 PM

I don't own a Lemond, but I just looked at the first page and saw a link to an even older thread in which 55/Rad stated he'd owned his Tete for only 17 months.

I kind of chuckled and then went awww...

Poprad. It looks Northern Irish to me but I don't talk to my bikes so it doesn't have a name.

That bike is pretty familiar looking. Too bad I did not get a girl who looked like that with it:D Here is my Alpe D' Huez. I pieced it together this winter.

That is sweet I really like that frame. I think it's newer than '99 though.
