Hmm, I had one of those on my bike in 1957; I wonder what happened to it. I've still got the bike, but with a B17 which has seen better days.

I swear by the Swallow. I have four, on different bikes (well, yeah).
Also, a good representation of a broken-in Swallow's comfort: I rode the Aids Lifecycle 9 event, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, on a Swallow. This was on a fixed-gear bike. If you've ridden fixed, you know it's less forgiving on the seat, as you never rest and are moving around here and there over long hauls to alleviate the aggravation from tat extra friction. I rode nearly 600 miles in that week, on that Swallow. I don't know what people commented on more: the fixed-gear, or the saddle!

was going to ask for some sweet pictures of how the leather's aged but she hasn't logged in in 4 years. :(

$320 from Wallingford Bicycle Parts.
Ti Rails.

Comes with the Proofide, wrench, saddle cover, and some sort of buffing cloth with the Brooks logo on it. Free FedEx shipping. (ordered it Monday, it arrived today, Wednesday!)

I found it cheaper on the web... but with wallbike's return / exchange policy on Brooks saddles (this is narrower than my Team Pro) I thought it a smart buy, and I also want to see Wallbike succeed - they are in post Katrina New Orleans - and doing OK from the sounds of the folks I talked to when I ordered.

+1 for Wallingford bicycle! I live 2 miles away from them and they are very nice in person as well. Very helpful in finding the correct saddle for me.
