Well I'm looking for a new speed ride for spring. Here's the thing...

I'm big... at 6'3" and 220ish (205 fighting weight) I'm a stong powerful rider.

What I'm looking for... a good do all kinda bike. I want to do a couple of races this year, but also a long distance triathon or two by slapping some aerobars on..

I'm riding a Cannondale XR800 cross bike in a 58cm that fits me like a dream right now. With the CAAD3 frameset, it's made me pretty harsh ride resistant.

I've had a couple of Litespeeds and found too much flex in the BB area.

The Scott team looks great, but what about flex in a carbon set... also thinking I'd look like a bear at the circus riding a compact geometry framset.

I like a CAAD5 or more recent Cannondale... Klein... **********

I'm 6'2", 220, your going to love your new R1000, I know I did.

Seriously, if I hadn't the money for a R100, then I would have gone R900, R700.

The CAAD8 was made for us.
