Interesting News Coming Out of Seattle

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Honestly? I'm not really that confident. Just having some fun. I am worried. I think it will be close should make for an interesting game.

Seattle is playing great as I said they trashed Carolina and I loved it.

Actually we don't see much coverage on Seattle. I'd like to see more. Certainly a lot more interesting than the coverage of how many times Bettis goes to the bathroom or whatever those media idiots cover ad nausium.

The way I see it is both teams are deserving of a win. First they are both there. Seattle has never even been in a Super Bowl, congrats on that. But Pittsburgh has been so close so many times. And I'd like to see a win for Betti's sake. My guess he will not retire on a loss after getting so close. He has plenty of talent to last another season but I am not sure about those knees.

Now your talking! Both teams are playing great. When the Steelers beat the Colts I said that team is going far. I actually like the Steelers but i followed the SeaHawks since the beginning so my heart goes out to Seattle. It should be great game!

That Colt game had to be one of the most exciting games I have seen in a long time. We actually had one guy here that had a heart attack when Bettis fumbled.

Glad you are going to get a chance to watch the game!

And watch the Steelers beat the Seahawks!

I'd bet if they didn't get the power back on, there would have been a march on the power company first thing Monday morning.

Love my coffee (just so happens that the best kind the grocery store sells is Starbucks) and I love the Hair Metal. Got one of my sirius satellite's preset to their HairNation channel and surf over there all the time.

Hair Metal forever!! Do not impugn the hair metal gods for they will smite you down with their thunderous juggernaut of guitar licks. It is a force that no mere mortal can withstand. Hair Metal rules from an iron throne!

I see that your from Socal - L.A.? If you of you of age in the 80's and didnt' go to those shows, you missed out big-time in the fun dept.

I was living in North Hollywood during the latter 80's and the eye-opening debauchery that was going on at Troubador, Gazzari's, Whiskey, Cat Club, and Roxy's was on a level with Rome during Caesars time. There were long-haired guys hammering metal ***** in dumpsters, in the bathroom at the Rainbow, and alleys.

Kurt Cobain and grunge - "My life sucks, I hate my dad, and then I kill myself cause it rains everyday in Seattle."

Yeah, that's great stuff

Help me out Rad - You were an L.A guy in his 20's back in the Party Decade, right?

Grunge chicks never looked like this. Tommy Lee = Da Man

It would be unbelievable to finally make the superbowl after 30 years only to have your power go out due to a storm. Man, I'd be driving somewhere/anywhere that had power!

Oh yeah, I loved the glam band - the power ballads especially. But I moved to Seattle in '94 and liked the scene there too.

And the Troubadour? I saw Neil Diamond there in like '72.

The flannel's in my closet. As for the heroin... Courtney Love cleaned out the city and took it with her when she left the region.
