New CF bars - what tape would you use?

Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Duct tape!

I personally like the Easton branded tapes. Likely they're actually made by Cinelli though.

No. Some bar tape is more comfortable than others. Some llasts longer. Some folks like colors. Some bar tape is easier to install.

I've been impressed with the feel of Specialized S-Wrap. LBS has it for 14.99 a pack and it's quite comfy and very easy to work with.

BTW, the Stella Azura tape looks nice but wears quickly around the brifters.

I use that synthetic carbon looking tape on all my bars now. I just like the stuff. It just feels comfy and the finish lasts forever. They are super easy to keep clean, and I even like the carbon tape with the gel underneath for my alloy bars. Keeps them comfy.
I am currently building a new Ti bike with an integrated set of carbon bars, and they will definitely have carbon effect tape. It just looks great, and lasts forever.

I use Bontrager gel or Cinelli gel (same thing). Those carbon (vinyl) tapes are too slippery when sweat gets on them, and not taping the CF is a bad idea because you can't rest your arms forward without slipping.
