Polar CS200Cad Hr vs % Max

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Polar CS200Cad Hr vs % Max

I have a question for the owners of this cycle computer. Is it possible to see in your exercise file the max heart rate if you've setup your display for %Max? Remember, on these units you can not display both while riding or when reviewing your exercise file. You have to choose one or the other in your limits setting.

The reason for this question is that I did a ride this weekend and had the CS200Cad setup for %Max display. I hit a major hill and wanted to see what my max heart rate was for the ride when I got home. Because I setup the unit for %Max I could not obtain the max heart rate on the ride. It told me 125% max instead. 125% max of what?

I remember being able to input your max HR in the settings (194). Unfortunately the monitor does sometimes goes crazy and goes crazy and hits 220 (when it obviously shouldn't). This usually happens when I don't wet the strap too much before the ride. I suspect this is what caused your 125% HR.
