First race of the season. Don't ask me where I came, the results haven't been published yet.

nice bike,, someone should tell that guy behind you a: he is not Michael Jordan, b. that tongue in the wind is not aerodynamic, and c. if he goes down in that corner he could be real hard to understand the rest of his life.

timmhaan 02-07-06 02:37 PM

well, at least we know you're a caucasian.

Markio 02-07-06 02:37 PM

I like how you added quads and calves to your silhouette :p

Namenda 02-07-06 02:42 PM

Forget the phantom, where did Casper the Friendly Ghost finish?

timmhaan 02-07-06 02:45 PM

actually - all kidding aside - how'd the bike perform? any problems?

Perfectly! It'll be even better when I stick my new Cosmic Carbones on it. Whether it's my training or the bike, the race was much easier than the ones I was riding last year, and this one was all categories, including some semi-pros and local champions.

Cool bike - and your position on the bike looks tight.

Man I knew you Brits were pale but this is serious....get some sun son!

My first race of the year is this weekend. Two days three stages. I won't be shy about where I come in I'll share!

The race was won by the local league champion - an Elite category rider who does a 10 mile TT in 19.58.

I only need approx 40 points, or 8 5th places to get into the British top 1000, so that standard and placing isn't really required. The 3/4th cats are scored separately from the E/1/2's in this series, so I need to wait for the official results.

CastIron 02-07-06 04:22 PM

EURO 02-07-06 04:26 PM

Haven't raced since Sept. Since start of Jan I'm back in training and down to race weight.

I think its one of those aliens from a 1950's horror movie... they now live in the English countryside, who knew.

...Euro never reveals where he lives or races, now from the pic you just have to include Mars...

Luckily it appeard to be overcast, while the rest of the field appears to be pretty pasty- you're clearly in need of sun. Don't over-do it though. Use sunscreen and do it gradually or your next race pics will look like this:
