A co-worker ran in the park this a.m. and said it was pretty sloppy. Might be cleaned up by tonight though...

Haven't been in the park today, but I bet it's like the rest of the city: a really mixed bag. Expect wet with occasional slush and / or icepack.

The regular ride went out last night. Don't worry, they'll find their bodies in the Spring.

So what's the latest on CP? I'm thinking of a quick ride this afternoon...
While we're at it, how about the GWB bike path?

i didn't make it up there last night. so, i'm not sure. however, i did ride around other places and the conditions aren't terrible. just go slow, expect to get very dirty, and you'll be okay. on the roads the snow is still pretty high on the sides, so you kinda have to move out to the middle. if you ride in CP please report back...

If I go, I'm taking the folder. It easily fits in the bathtub for clean-up after a nasty ride. (bathtub + degreaser + watering can == quick clean-up, wo0t!)

So I went to Toga along Riverside (+West End), not too bad. One or two sections were messy, but nothing the 35c (32?) Marathons on my folder couldn't handle. From Toga I hit Central Park and rode to the "hill" and headed home from there. My feet were getting cold from all the splashing of cars on them (a couple of times I was covered in slush spray when a taxi (yes both times a taxi, no surprise) came too close to my lane position). The road in CP is in excellent condition except for the stretch paralleling CP South. In fact, the road is mostly dry! Go for it, I say.

Rode last night. The CP park roads are clear except for a couple of small patches of ice it was fine. There weren't many bikers out but a TON of runners.

at night there has been some really fast group rides going on. looks like simulated races. anyone know who these people are? local team perhaps? a regular group ride? they are in the park around 8pm or later and it's a field of about 25 or 30.
