Who has a Bianchi 928 Veloce?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

MSRP is $2400. 15% off (discount for an '05--what I just paid for a new Bianchi last weekend at my LBS) is $2040. It's a nice bike with nice bits but not a particularly nice price.

My point there was that an LBS--without shipping or warranty issues--may sell, service, and fit you to that very bike for less money. E-bay is fine--if it's a good deal.

Just to let you know, I've been to Bike Station Aptos and they know their stuff =) I actually test rode that exact bike, but decided to go with 2006 model.

Its a sweet ride though, I'd recommend it unless you can find a better deal locally.

I had seen several of these go for less than $2k so I don't think that their buy it now/reserve price is all that great, especially for a 1yr old
model
