Lance riding 6 hours a day?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lance riding 6 hours a day?

Helo,

I know Lance rides 6 hours a day sincee he said so. Did he train with his team members or alone by himself on that 6 hours ride he says about?

he rode with team members and friends that lived around his home in girona
he did a lot of training with george hincapie, kevin livingston, floyd landis and tyler hamilton
but he also did alot of the training alone with just his soigneur for company in the following car

It doesn't matter much really. If your plan is to ride 6 hours daily you'll be riding ALONE. TRY to find somebody to do it with you. Good luck...

Heh, same here.

From Girona it's only maybe ~100kms to the Pyrenees, you know. In 6 hours Lance could head out there, do a big climb or two and be home in time for dinner.

And he could have spent the first three hours stretching.
