EURO....what about wear and tear.....mental burnout....gotta be careful with that stuff. Do you use massage? Special diet watched closely? I mean, there must be a difference between the casual rec/roadies, occasional racers and guys who are going to that next level like yourself. |
I've watched for two years now several races during SuperWeek in our area, and EURO I have to tell you that I think there is a difference.
I mean, I can see the serious rec riders out there in the crits, but there is another level toward the top. I have soooooo much respect for these guys. They come from all over the globe to race in events/series like this for very little money. They show up, ride their ass off, and maybe, just maybe, collect a prim (Sp? PREEM) or two to buy more gear or a pizza after. No glam.... No podium girls.... All the work it must take to get to that level. I admire those you do it, and I hope you can get there and wish you luck. To me, you'll always be the guy that told me about a bike shop in France when I asked! :) going May 5th by the way |
