EURO....what about wear and tear.....mental burnout....gotta be careful with that stuff.
I think I can manage... :)

No no no no no

Special diet watched closely?
No no no no no

I mean, there must be a difference between the casual rec/roadies, occasional racers and guys who are going to that next level like yourself.
Not really, you just turn up for more races, and spend your time training, rather than recreational riding. You've got to enjoy it, naturally, but nobody else I know who rides at 'this level' is a racing machine.

I've watched for two years now several races during SuperWeek in our area, and EURO I have to tell you that I think there is a difference.

I mean, I can see the serious rec riders out there in the crits, but there is another level toward the top. I have soooooo much respect for these guys. They come from all over the globe to race in events/series like this for very little money. They show up, ride their ass off, and maybe, just maybe, collect a prim (Sp? PREEM) or two to buy more gear or a pizza after.

No glam....
No podium girls....

All the work it must take to get to that level.
I admire those you do it, and I hope you can get there and wish you luck.

To me, you'll always be the guy that told me about a bike shop in France when I asked! :)

going May 5th by the way
