I am looking to replace a Ksyrum Mavic SL rim. I bought a used pair of wheels and one of them has a
little hop to it. Is it possible to just buy one of these rims? Where can I find a new one and how much will that set me back? Thanks!

You are likely to have to contact Mavic directly, but is probably possible. You should be able fit it yourself by changing spokes etc, replace anything else that is worn at the same time though!! No idea on costing though.

Yes you can, well at least in the UK...but its hella expensive, 80-90 GBP a rim, if I remember correctly. One of the reasons why I went for handbuilts.

It kinda P.O.ed at the previous owner for lying about the condition. The rear wheel is okay. Also Mavic should make affordable or at least findable replacements, I mean if the rim is shot that doesnt effect the condition of the hub! Such a throw-away culture at such a high price ,too, just like this computer....
Anyway, I am going to France next month maybe I wll find one there but if anyone knows a US distributer for these > Let me know..
Thanks

If a bike shop around you is a certified Mavic dealer, that's the way to go. They'll be able to order up what you need.

Mavic US won't sell to you directly. You have to go through your local Mavic dealer. The dealers can get parts rather quickly (a week).
