Ever consider wearing some some sort of goggle in group rides and races to protect your eyes?

Racing saturday I received a serious eye laceration from some tiny road debri or something flying into my eye under my glasses - not fun.

that'd look retro

I'll stick with glasses. Though you had a bad experience, the odds are in the favor of glasses.
Goggles can distort the view which ain't gonna hepp you none.

+1

Also, maybe you should try getting a large lense set. I got the Specialized San Remo. Covers my face like goggles. Plus the lenses change their tint in the sun.

Oh, give me a break! I've been looking all over for a pair of goggles like that. I'd wear those things in a heartbeat!

At which purveyor of ocular fashion might I find these little numbers? Totally decent!

I just did a search for 'racing goggles' and found them on one of the first few links.

o, navin r. johnson, where art thou?

have been thinking the same lately...

goggles would not slide down your nose, and so many bugs and other undesirables somehow fly THROUGH my lenses i sometimes wonder if they fell out or something....

not to mention the teary, watery vision on downhills....

when i see vintage, old-timey pics of tdf and other riders in what look like wwi flying ace goggles, i think maybe they had it right...

Hi,
I wear prescription glasses, and have, on some windy, dusty rides, yearned for goggles that would fit over the glasses...perhaps some of these. I might still get some of them, maybe the Flexi-fit.
