Vehicles we want for hauling our bikes!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wish I could say I had enough money to plan on getting one of these but I'm sure it would haul my bikes and myself around quite nicely.

Too bad they're no longer in production.

However, for all those Italian bike fans...

... I give you the Piaggio Aero P.180 Avanti II.

Formation flying. It's tough because the air behind those planes is the opposite of what you'd find in a pace line... which is to say that there's a high degree of dirty wake air (turbulent flow) coming off those props.

I want one of these:

Look at all the room in there!

You can stand two bikes up and strap them to the sides. Brilliant!

I'm easy. I'd take a base model Subaru Outback. Right now I have a gas chugging F150.

VW Jetta...plain and simple. That's what I want.

If money wasn't an object, I'd want an Airbus A380 all pimped out...then, I could haul all of my BF buds together to where ever we wanted to go.

BTW, we make engine driven pumps for the A380 where I work...have close ties to the aerospace industry.

Yeah....$440,000 and you can buy a CGT too .

He's eyeing a Ferrari F360 Spyder for the wifey - had one before, but sold it to get an F430 (which he in turn traded that in on the CGT).

most sports cars are impracticle for carrying stuff, luckily my zippy honda is a hatchback so I can fit the bike when the seats go down.

Subaru WRX station wagon / hatchback would be an upgrade.

. .

The new volvo station wagons are very nice too or an X3 BMW (very economical diesel engines).
