Ivan Basso's space actually looks authentic, and he (if it is authentic) actually commented on the Jan's page.

"And Vino is winning, yes, the Jan has heard this. Way to go, two victories in the Tour of West Detroit and the Tour of South Ohio. Puh-lease. These victories are made up names. The Jan has never even heard of these places that Vino is winning. Oh, look at me, I am the Jan, I am just winning the Tour of the Jan's Bedroom!"

The Jan's page uses too many correctly spelt Americanised colloquialisms to be written by someone who started life with German as their first language.
Nevertheless, it is a wildly funny site, I have it bookmarked now.

this is golden. Very exceptional find. I wonder who wrote it.
All I can think though while reading is Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice in the terminator movies. Im reading it and hearing his voice at the same time.
Pure Gold!
EDIT: I love this bit:
and people are being all like, Jan, what is the deal with your eyes, and I am like, "Shut up, man, I am being watching people." And then they are all like, "Oh, my bad, Jan." And the Jan is all like, "Ja, no ****." And then I am killing them. The Jan is hating to be interrupted when I am watching people.

"I like to ride the bike. I enjoy crushing the weak. I enjoy driving my enemies before me and hearing the lamentations of their women. I enjoy triumph. I also like puppies. To eat."
Jan must be a fan of Conan the Barbarian.

Maybe also the Jan should not be playing quarters with Robbie McEwen after every stage. Or maybe the Jan should not be sneaking the pizza back to the hotel when the team director is being fallen asleep, and then eating it under the covers and then going into the bathroom afterward and calling myself a fat pig and telling myself that I am hating myself and then crying myself to sleep on the cold tile floor.
that sh=t is funny.

I enjoy watching myself ride the bicycle on TV, crushing the souls of the weak. I do not enjoy watching the OLN on the TV, where the announcers swing from Lance Armstrong's testicles as if they were a trapeze.
