Considering shaving this summer......
Would any of you consider using this on your legs?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ance&n=3760901 The reviews are good, but no one says anything about legs......i know thats not really what its meant for, but i would be more inclinded to use this than a razor, for the convenience factor. Thoughts? |
I have one and yes it does remove the hair but it takes three times as long as using a standard razor.
|
Be a man!! Use an Epilady.

Edit: why wait for the summer? Shaving for cycling is awesome. I wish I hadn't waited all these years to give it a try. |
Anyone tried one of these?
Apparently, the rotating pads remove the hair for over a month at a time. http://www.hairdepil.com/ConairTheHa...ystemHB1R.html |
Oh man... I think I will never be able to shave... Not 'till I move out of my dad's house... I can see the look on his face already: you want me to buy what?? to shave WHAT?? Son, are you... umm... I thought you have a girlfriend...??

I use this: http://www.shaveeverywhere.com/
Works so well, I find myself shaving even if I know I'll be riding just the trainer. |

would rather shave, but god im soo hairy, i would have to find somethingeasy man.
what about nair. |
what's the big deal? some shaving cream and a disposable razor and you're good to go.
|
I use a hair buzzer, keeps the hair short enough so it wont cause any problems if I wreck and it only takes a min.

1. use clippers to shave off excess hair. 2. apply shaving cream on legs while in shower/bath 3. shave legs 4. rinse shower/bath :) |
Nair for men. It's like 6 bucks for many many applications, and takes like 5 minutes. Smells kinda bad, but it's so much easier than shaving, and you're guaranteed not to cut yourself.
|
Forget shaving cream. I found this awesome clear, minty shaving gel "for women" made by "King of Shaves". Works great, you see what you're doing and it smells good. :D
|
I use King of Shaves oil instead of cream on my face (I have a beard, so I only shave a small area), and it does a much better job than any cream I have ever tried. As for legs, waxing or chemicals last a LOT longer than the blade. Plus the hair grows back softer (no itch) and thinner.

i can't believe i'm reading this thread with so much active interest....
thought about doing it to psyche myself up for the mitchell assault... also am becoming more aware that my extra shaggy hairy legs look awful funny between the lycra shorts and the thin little socks... |

Ride a few blocks down the corner to the spa hottie, get your legs waxed and let her try to convince you to go higher.
Works for me. Beats the crap out of shaving every 3 days too. If she looked like a professional wrestler, I'm not sure it would be the same though. |
consider nude shade nylons for the look of shaving without the effort.
Most men's body shavers are curiously only designed for testicles. |
