Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

less expensive 180mm cranks...?

Looking to try a longer crankset with my Shimano 10s drivetrain. Thinking 180mm would be ideal.

So far, I've come up with a few options...

Dura Ace - would definitely work, but pretty expensive
Stronglight Pulsion - also expensive
Truvative Rouleur - not bad in alloy

I'm sure there are more. So, if you know of any (and especially if you have pricing info), I'd love to hear about them. And, of course, reviews of any of these would be expecially appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve

Forum member Jakey has a set of Ultegra 180's (used) that I believe he may be willing to sell or trade. Might be an inexpensive way to try out a longer set.
