My new frame is here

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My new frame is here

I got back from dinner and the UPS guy had come. In a box was my new to me Dean Culebra SCI with a new fork, headset, seatpost, stem and collar. The seller said it had been built up and ridden 50 miles but you can't tell from looking at it.

Now I need to find time tomorrow to get to the bike shop to have them install the headset. I can do most things but I have never installed a headset or cut down a fork.

Pictures to follow tomorrow.

Not that Dean this Dean

I love the way it looks. Unfortunately I am going to be jammed all day today and probably tomorrow with kid stuff so I probably won't get to work on it until Monday.
