Flattest saddle? Brooks?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Flattest saddle? Brooks?

I am currently riding an old Ideale 90 that has a little bit of a hump from side to side, as seen from the rear.

Looking for the flattest saddle I can find, from the same aspect. It must be 150-160mm wide.

Suggestions? One of the Brooks?

Thanks.

Such a sad story. Early Summer added to NFLX queue.

New Brooks saddles are flat. (see first photo)

Broken in Brooks saddles are not flat. (see second photo)

But I like a curvy saddle.

BTW - that second one has 20,000 kms on it.

I'm looking for flat from side to side, not so much front to back.

flat saddle

My B17 Brooks is quite flat and I have just tried a Selle Trans Am which seems to be reasonably flat as well.

When a Brooks is broken in, it is not flat side to side either .... you'll develop "butt grooves". If your saddle still does not have "butt grooves" then it isn't broken in yet.

But it is those "butt grooves" that make the Brooks SO comfortable!!

Does the SLR kind of have a rise going from the back to the nose? I haven't tried one but it looks like it would hit me right where I don't want it to.

I've got a Selle Italia Prolink on my fixie that's flat across the back, and I'm looking for something similar in a racing saddle.
