I've recently become interested in this frame/bike. Has anyone an idea of what this frameset would sell for, both at the dealer and on eBay?

I did a lot of hunting for one and it's really difficult to buy one in the US of A. They really want to sell the whole bike, although the TCR composite frameset is available. The only OCR framesets I've seen for sale are in the UK.

Beware of buying one off of ebay; you won't get a warranty. The best option is to buy the whole bike and sell off the parts so you get the warranty from Giant. The other issue is that the 0,1,2, and 3 designations have to do with the parts hanging off of them so ideally the OCR 3 would be the one to buy since it would be the cheapest of all built up bikes, if you would go the whole frame route. But then it might not be the color you like and it has a "3" you'll have to paint over.

One last option is to have a dealer search Giant's website for a blemished ("blem") frame that's posted for dealers to buy; they are often not actually blemished, but just not complete bikes to sell. Also, if the LBS has a good relationship with a rep, one might be found since some are kept stored for warranty replacement frames. However, LBS employees will NEVER EVER have one ounce of motivation to do it for you and follow through and call you the next day when they say they will just to get you out of the shop.

Thanks for the info--I need to look into the warranty issue.
