TDF/Lance Highlight Video
I'm not a huge Lance fan but this gets my heart racing (especially the last two minutes of sprints, peleton tracking and crashes):

Frankly i'm getting tired of the Lance sack riding. He was a great rider, however many other riders were also great, let it go.

Ehh, well there's plenty of video out there of LA getting schooled too. Late 90's at Ghent-Welgem(sp?) it came down to the finish with LA and Dekker, Dekker slowed to walking speed with LA on his wheel, Dekker was waiting for another guy to catch up but he was too far back so Dekker went without him. Dekker stood up and sprinted to the finish with Lance unable to do anything but suck wheel. There are some things LA can't do All out speed is one of them. He has killer TT and climbing but peak power on the flats he loses, and by quite a bit, a true sprinter has almost 15mph on LA !!

maybe 4-5, but not 15, that means lance cant go over 31 mph, and he time trials faster than that.
He was hired by subaru montgomery to lead out Jonas Carney back in the day.
And before someone brings up the sprint victory in the Tour of Georgia a few years ago, remember there was a killer, killer hill in the last k each lap before the line. It effectively killed the legs of the true sprinters. LA got the win, and thats a testament to his strength, but thats different than milan san remo, or the Tdf Stage in to Bordeaux etc..
Remember when Hincapie was like 2 seconds from the Yellow Jersey? But he couldn't get the time bonuses needed to take it. he lost the intermediary sprints... was that in 1998?
The only time he and LeMond went head to head was in a time trial during the Tour duPont (De trump) LeMond rocked the mic like vandal, and waxed the chump like a candle. hey, it was in the 80's wasnt it?
Lance had a tough time at the Amstel Gold race as well, despite trying to win it numerous times, but he's got 7 TdF's and I dont think we will see that again in our lifetimes.
That video rocked, i like the TTT footage where GH is pointing up the road.

Too heavy on '03 footage, and the music sucked. I hope this was for a high school class.

Lance is a crock.
It's probably the rules package that just happened to suit him for so many years and that's why him and his stupid little team dominated the world championship and constructors title. I mean, they changed the rules last year and now Renault's at the top.

Somebody else is banging on him because he doesn't win sprints. How many pros can do it all, sprint, climb, TT? I can understand why everyone isn't a LA fan but give the man some respect.

none of you here are 1/10 of what Lance is so what gives you the right to judge him?
Stack up on EPO and you still wont even be able to draft...

So? I didn't realize I had to be a percentage of someone, before I could post my opinion about them.
