Sora Shifters
I Have a bet with my friend that Sora shifters are really the same as Acera shifters. Who is right?

Your friend. Acera is mountain bike components, while Sora is road. The acera shifters probably won't work too well with a road crank/derailleurs and also won't fit on road bars.
