I do this sometimes, cause I am pretty AR about tan lines... But when you're not on the bike (god forbid you should stop for a second to enjoy the view of the ocean) it looks really goofy with lycra shorts and no shirt. But, I'd rather have no tan lines... So no shirt for me during summer
