Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Eastons are lighter 1697g versus 1840g but what about durability and general ride feel? Price wise the equipes are about $50 bucks more. Which way would you go? Wanted something with a bit more bling than the Mavic OP.

I'm riding Equipes right now. Coming from 105 hubs it's been a night and day difference (for the better). That being said, I've been looking at (and just waiting for a good deal) many of the lighter Easton wheelsets as I believe they roll better from my 5 minute spins on my buddys' rigs.
