Cannondale CAAD 4 Aero frames. Are they cool?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I need cheap aero bike, and I can get a 2001 Cannondale R1000 Aero for cheap, like $700 USD.

Is it worth it?

Cannondales are solid frames, but having owned a CAAD3 roadie for a while, I would have to guess that a CAAD4 aero frame will not be the comfiest ride ever. In fact, it'll probably be pretty harsh.

It certainly doesn't look very comfy.
