Wheel and cassette swapping
 

Hi ,

Am looking to swap some wheels between bikes and buy a set of cheap training wheels. Both bikes are ultegra 10 spd. 700c. What are the options for buying a spare cassette and wheel sets.

Are campag wheels or any other brand interchangeable with shimano?
Can you put 10spd shimano cassette on a wheel that had an 8spd shimano cassette or a campag cassette?
What should I look for when buying a second hand or cheap pair of wheels

If a wheel is set up for campag cassettes, shimano won't fit. What to look for in a cheap pair of wheels? Something cheap.

an 8 speed shimano hub will take a 9 or 10 speed shimano cassette... no probs.

You can get Campagnolo brand wheels with a Shimano freehub, but why?, when there are many more choices available in aftermarket wheelsets that are shimano compatible.
