Correct me if I'm wrong, but, the police that troll the internet world don't/ can't make offers of sex, which this clearly seems to be... The suspected offender has to be the one to make the offer, if the cop offers, it's then considered entrapment and then there's no grounds for prosecution, I think there's some clearly written legal guidelines regarding internet predators.
I see this all the time on the news here in STL, some cop sits at his desk all day surfing chatrooms pretending to be some 14 year old boy/girl, when a conversation is struck, the cop can't make the offers, only the scumbag, then they arrange to meet in a park somewhere, except when the suspect gets there he arrives to find half the St. Louis County police there to haul him off, it's very entertaining.

Aha...therein lies the rub. Nowhere in the 6 emails did the "woman" say "I'll have sex with you or your friend in return for the frame". All that was said was innuendo and double talk. Infinite deniablility. Terms like 'sweeten the deal' and 'show your friend a good time' and 'turn you straight' are all deniable.

I'm not too worried about that. I sure as heck haven't done anything wrong. I haven't mentioned or even alluded to anything sexual, despite her attempts to corrupt me apparently.

Anyone in the SD area that wants to come over around 6 is more than welcome to. We could have a "garage day" if anyone needs to wrench on anything, haha.

It'd be great if it were an actual hot chick and like 20 willing "riders" were there to great her.

My buddy isn't being "tossed some skank". If you remember, at the point at which he was added into the equation, this seemed like a woman being slightly flirty and interested mainly in the bike. Things have certainly changed for the weird, and at this point he is continuing to play along solely for all our humor. Don't mis-understand his intentions or mine. The chances of him having any involvement with this person are 0.

I'm pretty sure if it were a cop they would've figured out by now I'm not some sex-crazed freak and moved on. Some of you guys watch too much 60 minutes.

My vote is still for one of two things.
A) No one shows up
B) Some not attractive / slightly crazy woman shows up

If a, then we all got a laugh, if b, then I sell her the frame and suddenly my whole house comes down with AIDS and SARS at the same time and we can't call her back *cough cough*

I don't even know where to start with this statement. I responded like someone who is happy and in a relationship because, well, I am someone who is happy and in a relationship. Even if she showed up and was super hot and not crazy, I'd still not be interested.

More importantly, are you saying you'd honestly sleep with someone that crazy, no matter what they looked like? I think we have drastically different definitions of intimacy.


I'm trying to not think about this too much because I'm a skeptic and I'm expecting no one to show up. 3 hours 47 minutes and counting!
