Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

CO2 Replacement Cartridges

I'd like to buy a half dozen or so 16g CO2 replacement cartridges. Anyone know where I can find a great deal on these?

Assuming you want the non-threaded version, head on over to WalMart. CO2 cartridges are used in BB guns and other things of that nature.

Try BikeTiresDirect - they have great prices on threaded, so I'd expect the same for non-threaded.

Performance has them for 99 cents each but you have to pay for shipping. For 6 it's probably easiest to go to a local shop.

Oops, that's for 12g. 16s are $7 for 2. Big difference.

The Walmart ones are 12g, non-threaded. Still a great deal, though.

I found a better deal at Academy Sports. I just bought a box of 25 12g non threads for $7.84. They are Brass Eagle brand.
