Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pics of my Scott

Just thought I would share some pics of my Scott. Its an S3 Alum frame with the CR1 Carbon fork. I have added a Easton EC70 Carbon seat post. I have taken the tripple off and have added a Ritchy Pro 50/34 Compact crank. FSA front dreailer. Eggbeater candy pedals. I currently have a serfas doado saddle that I am trying out custom built wheels (velocity 36 spoke rim) They are good and strong for this heavyweight. Weight 20 lbs. Just thought I would share a pic.

Thanks for posting your ride. Looks clean (literally and in a style sense) and racy. How do you like the seatpost? Next time try to post a photo with the drivetrain showing. I see you also have a white garage door!

Thanks for the comments. I like the seatpost a lot. It gives a little flex over the standard post that came on the bike. I will say that this is the only carbon post I have ever used so I can't really compare it to any other carbon post. I do think Easton makes a great product.
