Which seatpost?
 

I was seriously looking into the Ritchey WCS seatpost but got mixed reviews back from my original post. I need something with at least that type of setback (Ritchey WCS). Too bad, it would have looked great on my bike. :(

You had an overwhelmingly positive response to your post with a couple of exceptions who reported a problem with the saddle tilting. Not sure what part of that might be user error, but I can reiterate that I have over two years on my Ritchey WCS seatpost and for all intents and purposes - it have been frozen in time since I first set it up. That being said, you may want to check out a Thomson seatpost with setback - they are completely bomb proof, (I have 5 of them). Good luck!

Is there the same amount of setback on the Thompson as there is on the Ritchey? The Ritchey looks so pretty though.

Not certain if it's exactly the same, but why not give the Ritchey a try if you like the looks so well. Worst case, you could easily sell it on ebay.

The Ritchey isn't the easiest to adjust and needs some serious leverage to keep the saddle in place, but if you're a 'set-and-forget' type of person, it'll be fine. Hardly a deal breaker.

The Thomsons are also a good choice - just don't get a straight one unless your bike is specifically designed for it.

Just get the one you like the look of the best would be my suggestion.

Another vote for the WCS. I have one on my roadie, and like it better than the Thomson on my mtb. Yes, the saddle can tilt if not tightened sufficiently, but this is true for any seatpost. I doubt you'll be disappointed, especially since you've already decided that the look is right for you.

i have a richey wcs on 3 of my bikes and have no problems.

i like easton's single bolt setups. their ea70 is a great design w/ 25mm of setback.
