My new wheels

Seems like alot of "new wheel" or "what kind of wheel" threads lately. Well I have a box sitting next to the desk with my new M.G. Niobium Cadence Rims 24f/28r, Silver White H1 hubs/ Campy freehub. DT Revolutions Front and Rear non-drive side, with Alloy nipples. Wheelsmith DB14 Rear Drive side, with Brass nipples. Had him alternate Silver and Black spoke and nipple. Might have to leave work early to go mount them up. Had M.G. put the Velo plugs on instead of tape.

I already have a set of Niobium 30s w/ Black H1's set up for Shimano, so now I will be able to interchange the wheelsets between my bikes.

You'll have to let me know how the Cadence rims turn out. I was really tempted to get them for my recent build, but couldn't find enough info and was put off by the weight limit. The only rider review I found was a complaint on having to true them up fairly often, but I have a feeling if they're built up and tensioned properly, it won't be a problem. Since I'm just riding recreation, I went the safe route and got the Aerohead rims at 15g more each.

How much did that set cost with the white hubs? I'm looking at getting a set built by him but do not want to speedcific hubs.

LOL, working on getting some pics Rad, although I would think they would turn out much better if taken by you sir.

Domestique, They set me back $544.00, 1398gms, @ 20-25gms heavier than M.G. and I thought they would be, but they seem sturdy as hell with his choice of spokes. So I hope they are bulletproof.

urbanKnight, I guess I didn't know about a rider wieght limit, how much is it?. Hoping not to have to true them too much, my other set by M.G. has been pretty incredible.

The weight limit isn't a factory spec, just Mike Garcia's preference/recommendation

It says he likes to keep the rider weight under $170. Not sure what you weigh, but I'm sure since this is Mike Garcia's preference, he would have kept that in mind when suggesting things for you.
