Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ProBikeKit - Team Kit Bib Shorts...?

Just curious if anyone's purchased a pair of the team kit bib shorts from ProBikeKit.com, and, if so, what are your impressions of the quality? I realize these are supposed to be "the real deal", so I would expect their quality to be very high. But, I figured I'd ask anyway. The price is certainly attractive.

Also, do you agree with their sizing recommendations (waist size per size #)? I'm 6'2 with a 34" waist, so it looks like I'm a size 6. However, I've never worn bibs and I don't like stuff extremely tight, so I'm a little concerned about feeling restricted.

Finally, it looks like there are two different back styles. One appears to come up to mid-back, and the other appears to completely cover your back. Not sure what to make of that. Go for the mid-back for extra cooling?

(In case you're wondering, I'm not necessarily looking for any specific team. I'm just looking to pick up a pair of quality bibs for a good price.)

Anyway, thanks for any info.

Steve

they are the real deal, well as real as replica team kits can get anyway, their jersey sizing charts are way off in my opinion though

I've looked at them and decided that it was better to pin down your size with a brand name (i.e. PI, Assos, etc.) and then buy them on-line or on ebay. Every piece of discount clothing I've bought without trying on (or knowing the fit in advance) has not fitted very well, so I've learned my lesson.

You could have gone for a 4 according to the chart as well.
