Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Name a part of your bike, you can find a more expensive/lighter weight part to replace it with. If I recall, the KHS Flite 300 has a Sora drivetrain. You could upgrade to Tiagra, but it would cost a fair bit. I think if you want th ebest bang for the buck, you might look at upgrading the wheelset. If you find the saddle uncomfortable after riding it for a while, then a new saddle miht be in order.

How long have you been riding it?

Change the wheels first. You can get a decent par of wheels for $300.
