Reynolds alta race or Neuvation R28 sl2
I'm building a Flyte srs3 with ultegra and I need help choosing wheels .The Reynolds(1510g) cost $290 delivered + the Neuvation(1530g) ones are $299 delivered. I weight about 165 pounds and ride on smooth to very smooth roads. Most people rave about Neuvation wheels, but I haven't seen much on the Reynolds wheels. I want a set of durable wheels with standard spokes, that weighs around 1500-1600 grams and cost $300 or less delivered. All relevant comments are welcome

I've been using Alta Race wheels for some time now and I've been very pleased. They're strong and light with smooth running hubs. BTW, I weigh 180 lbs. My previous experiences with Neuvation was with their bladed spoke models and they were notorious for broking spokes (not sure if they were using some generic spokes or not). Neuvation's customer service is excellent though since you talk directly with John the owner. They're both good, but I'd go with the Reynolds. Also they're a hair deeper at 30mm compared to 28 on the Neuvation. And looks like they're the cheaper option. Good luck.
