Felt F4C vs Giant TCR comp 2

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Felt F4C vs Giant TCR comp 2

So...I'm in the market for a new bike... I've test ridden just about every bike within my price range out there, and when it comes down to it, its either a Felt F4C or a Giant TCR comp 2 (Giant is $70 more, same bike store). Problem is, I can't decide between the two. HELP!

I looked at and rode the F4C the other day. Very Very nice bike. The frame and fork felt nice and stiff and overall the ride was pretty soft. Very sharp red paint to. The full Ultegra felt like....well full Ultegra. The bike I rode had Flash Point wheels so I can't really say much about the stock hoops. Can't go wrong either way....Giant or Felt

I'd go with the Felt. There is no quality improvement in the Giant, use the extra $70 for a new jersey or something

Frame designs are different, Giant is a compact frame with higher stand over height and shorter wheelbase.
The shorter wheel base makes for more agressive, quicker handling. The Felt is a more conventional frame, so the handling would be slower. The Felt has a dura-ace rear derailleur, while the Giant has better specified shimano 105 brakes, the Felts brakes are un-branded.

Plus if you get the Giant before the 31st of Aug, you get a free jersey, which makes up for the price difference anyway.
