Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rode only 13 miles yesterday morning but it was followed by a 7 mile run. Wife did the same thing and added a set of doubles tennis for a triathalon of sorts.

I did 40.7 miles yesterday on a fairly "fast" loop....i.e., barely any climbing by New England standards (like 1,200 feet), but it was windy as all hell, so it kept the speed down a bit in parts.

Saturday was 78 miles through Bull Valley. Rolling and hilly and fast.
Sunday, 72 miles up to County Q in Wisky. Also fast.
Went out A's and B's together on Saturday. Sunday was a B+ (we caught the A's at one point)
Pulled up front most of the days. Fun, fun, fun.
