i'd call that photo more like, um, normal?
i don't have the bikeforums.net cache to step into this one, but certainly the reason as stated above is vanity and to 'fit in'.
of course, i find that pretty silly. but who cares? whatever blows your skirt up. if thats what makes you happy, well godamit you just go on with yer bad self.

I never, ever shaved my legs until recently, when I gave it a try.
Biggest difference: Easier to get my wife out of bed in the morning by brushing up against her with my stubble!
