Why shave legs?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i'd call that photo more like, um, normal?

i don't have the bikeforums.net cache to step into this one, but certainly the reason as stated above is vanity and to 'fit in'.

of course, i find that pretty silly. but who cares? whatever blows your skirt up. if thats what makes you happy, well godamit you just go on with yer bad self.

I hear girls/women dig it. No need for any other reasons.

I never, ever shaved my legs until recently, when I gave it a try.

Biggest difference: Easier to get my wife out of bed in the morning by brushing up against her with my stubble!

Why do women shave their legs? Same thoughts apply.
