Need some help with Royal Gran Comp brakes...
A while back I found a nice, flawless set of old "Royal Gran Compe" brake calipers. I decided to slap them on my bike to replace the crappy stockers that came on it. The Royal Gran Comp's were slightly used. They stop much better than my Trek 1000's original brakes did.
Now I notice that they use a different style brake pad. The pad isn't as long and is a different shape than modern pads. Where can I find a set of replacement pads?
Also, I know nothing about these brakes. Are they worth anything? What era are they from? Who made them?
Here's a pic of them on my bike. Sorry for the poor quality but I think you can get the idea of what I am asking by this picture. They look cooler than the stock ones too... seem very European.

So what can you all tell me about them?

They are made by Diacompe. You can get usable shoes from just about any bike shop. If you need OEM shoes you might have to search a bit. Yellow Jersey would probabaly have them.
