Any stock road bike that is. What bike would it be? Regardless of price. Include pics if you can.

Huh...I'm the first reply.... Mine's kinda basic. I'd like a Trek Project One Madone SSLX with full Dura Ace and the uber cool carbon wheels. I'm easy to please.

Cervelo SLC-SL (Soloist Carbon Superlight) with full 2007 campy record, zero gravity ti brakes (or maybe the 2007 record skeleton brakes), zipp Z6 wheelset along with Campy Bora Ultras, to be switched off depending on my mood, selle italia C64, speedplay zero Ti, zipp stem + zipp B2 bars, nokon cables...i dunno i just rattled that off of the tip of my brain really quick, but it would be along those lines...
wait...stock means what? as a pre-built kit from the factory? hmmm, probably would go for the SLC-SL in whatever specs it ends up coming with...then swap all the parts for the ones listed above

My LBS has a giant TCR advanced with Zipp 202's, Tune pedals, Stronglight cranks, and just about every other lightweight component you can think of, hanging from a scale in the showroom. Weighs about 11.75 pounds. That's the one I want.
OOPS stock bike, ..never mind.

I'd like either a Moots Vamoots SL Ti, Scott CR1 Team Issue cabon or a Serrotta Legend Ti. Wait... I think only the Scott can be had in "stock" form with Record? I guess I'll settle for the CR1 Team Issue
.

If so, that bike has been hanging around for a long, long time. 9 months or more, I would guess.

the SLC-SL is only 200 grams lighter. Don't you get the feeling that they just charged an extra $2000 to NOT paint the frame?
I still want one.. just saying...

Richard Sachs with Record. In five years it will be worth what I paid today or more. How much will used carbon bikes go for? Plus, it's a real good bike.

It's pretty bad but I haven't even looked at "stock" bikes in so long I don't even know what is out there. If I were to just take a guess it would have to be a Colnago, Pinnerella or to get a little more common it would be the new Cannondale six (or something like that).

Mine would be a Colnago Ferrari because it would have the best resale value. I would sell it immediately. Nobody said we had to choose one to ride.
