Quebec Riding
Does anyone have any suggestions for day rides in/around Quebec? I am going for a road trip from around sept 8-18. I'll be starting the trip driving from philly to montreal and spending the weekend there. I am thinking of hitting up Parc National de la Gaspesie also. Looking for any recommendations of good park areas to do day rides and then hopefully be able to either camp or sleep in my car. Thanks!

You want to bike in Montreal, Quebec City, Gaspesie or all ? I can suggest you some rides in the Montreal region depending on where you will be and for how long.

Sory for my previous non-informative post. I was forced to leave my computer...
So, the ultimate guide for the southshore of Montreal is here https://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~marcotte/Velo/Trajets.html
with lot of maps and pictures.
I also recommend you this 35km ride in Laval (75km round trip from downtown Montreal, take Viau bridge which has a bike path). See picture.
If you are stuck in town, you can ride to Notre-Dame island via Jacques-Cartier bridge and make few turns on the F1 race circuit. Will take you about 1hour from downtown with 3laps of the circuit.
You may enjoy the Camillien-Houde hill on Mont-Royal. 8% on 1.5 km. When you go down on the other side come back via Cote-St-Catherine and start again. Do it as much as you want/can and feel like Eddy Merckx in 1974 at the world championship.
If you have time you can go to "la maison des cyclistes" (home of cyclists) on Rachel st corner of Brebeuf st. They sell booklets of bike rides around Montreal and in the Province of Quebec.
As for sleeping in parks, all National and Provicial parks have camping lots. So you can sleep there in your car if you want. Expect small fee. However, I did it for free a lot of time after the first week of September.
Hope this may help you. Enjoy your trip!
