Looking for a race DVD
I need some help finding a good race video/DVD of road racing. Here's the catch: I want to watch some pro women, preferably in a stage race, but any road race would do. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I haven't been able to find a thing!

That's a tall order, especially on DVD.
Maybe somebody taped the Olympic road race, or world championships, off the air. I've never seen a women's road race video for sale, though.

Cycling.tv still had the womens geelong tour playing. If you can get ahold of UCI Track Worlds '06 then taht will also work. Womens pursuit/race.

I've got the two years of the HP Women's Challenge that were broadcast but they're not on DVD.

I tried T-mobile's site, tried to email the contact listed on the HP Women's Challenge's site - it bounced. I went to UCI Track Worlds' site - did not see a place to purchase footage. I have never used cycling.tv - I actually don't ever watch tv, and I'm not sure I would sit down at a scheduled time to sit and watch in front of the computer, so I haven't tried. I'm better at popping a video in when I feel like it (the end of the day) to watch some racing, or watching a video while I'm on my trainer.

I've got a DVD of the World Championships from 1991 or 1992. It's got a short clip (like 30 seconds) of the women's team time trial, and two complete match sprints from the women's track final. It's a bootleg of the Wide World of Sports coverage, with commentary from Phil Liggett and John Tesh. I got it off ebay, and I may be able to rip the files and send them to you.
