What's Your Favorite Bib Short Co.?
I realize that the answer is a little subjective, but which company do you think makes the best bib shorts, based on durability, chamois quality and comfort?

I use to like Pearl Izumi Mircosensors, but they changed the chamois for '06, so I've tried some of the better Descente bibs and find them more comfortable. PI's old 3D pad was better, but the Descente bibs fit better.

So how does Assos sizing run as compared to PI? I can wear an XL in PI, but it seems in anything else I may need XXL or larger.

Assos are nice!, but Cannondale bibs are just fine, and are oftentimes on sale from Nashbar or Sierra trading post.

I got the descente aero-x about 150$ they are nice. Although sometimes my nuts get uncomfortable, cuz they are so hairy. And it feels like the crotch area is to big!!

Etxe Ondo., any model with the "Golden Chamois".
they run very small, and the size is based on height, not overall size like
US sizing.

Castelli's work the best for me, and Voler for affordable bibs. I havn't had a chance to try a pair of assos, but i keep on hearing that their not the most durable.

I've ridden about 2500 miles in Voler bibs but recently picked up a pair of Descente bibs. I much prefer the Descente shorts. Too bad they cost almost twice as much.
