What do you guys think of my new ride?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What do you guys think of my new ride?

What do you guys think of my new ride?

Its a Giant TCR C3 with a mixture of Dura-Ace and Ultegra with FSA bars stem and seatpost. Its my first carbon bike and I can't wait to ride it. Does this qualify me as OCP?

Looks like you've got a great ride there.

As far as the OCP thing, I wouldn't know.

Did you build this up, yourself? This model (C3) comes with 105 10 speed...this is more along the lines of the TCRC0...

Nice bike.

I don't know about the bike as being OCP............it's a great bike! But those handlebars are blinging so loud that it may.......no it does qualify you as OCP! Enjoy and it looks good. I am jealous of those handles!

if OCP stands for Otherwise Clear Pedals, then yes, you're in.

Buying this really proved to me the benifits of going through your LBS.

Not only did I get a great deal but I got to ride a similar model before to check the fit, he didnt try and rip me off by making me have full DA, which I couldn't really afford. He just told me to buy the most important bits and the rest as Ultegra.

I was going to buy a Madone 5.2 of the internet as they are quite cheap at the moment but I popped into my local LBS first and he spent loads of time discussing exactly what I need and convinced me to use the wheelset he just built for my old bike to save me money on these. Overall an excellent LBS experience.

Very nice bike. I like the blue color scheme. Good job. Now go out and ride it and enjoy it.
