Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am in the news routinely too. But I am always giving an interview for a clandestine lab we took down and explaining why the new laws are not biting harder and why kids were in a lab! I wish I could be in the news on my bike!

Whoaaaa.......here I am on the HH ride!

I was delighted to see the picture of Carson Torpey. I bought a Proteus frame from him back in 1974 when he was working at what was then known as Cherokee Cyclery. What a great guy!

I was there, too. Didn't make the news, however. Good to see some Louisville people on this board.

Ooops, just saw you're from Indiana.

Flipping alone will not cure the 50mm of spacers...

Looks like a cool event to be a part of. Congrats!

Who says 50 mm of spacers need to be cured?

Of course, if one has them, they must be carbon fiber!

Or Delrin. Just a tad lighter than the CF ones. Extralight sells them, but I had a friend machine some custom for me.

I guess that H1449-6 has never been on Myspace or LiveJournal. You can find out anything about anyone on that stuff. Talk about privacy nightmare.

I told nothing more you can't find out in the phone book.

Hey.........I resemble that remark! But it is true in certain circumstances. Damn our secret is out.

"Snowman to snowbunny do you copy?"

"Yeah snowman what's up?"

"The public now knows our secret of tracking citizens down, we must find a new method, copy?"
