I was following the bars on that roadie above, and then I thought...Wait a second where did the rest of the drops go??

StalkerZERO 09-05-06 06:41 PM

Wait though.....no me likes! :p
Its new and different. And its a tad bit more curved than any of the orca features you might be thinking of.
What show is that? Interbike?

EDIT: nevermind...its eurobike.

I dunno....the xentis wheels compliments the curvy frame perfectly. I'm really interested in that....what is it?...tt bar extenders? It looks like the bar is made to take regular road bike hoods to combine with a tt bar.
I guess thats different than having a clip-on put onto a regular road bike bar.
It looks like you can take that bike and do everything with it.....road, time trialing, triathlon.
I want more info on it.

More pics of that bike..........

I like the strong lines and simple look, the whole bike just flows.

Check out the pics in post #9. I could swear they were lifted from the
covers of old Ace Science Fiction Doubles I used to read in the '60s.

What was yesterday's science fiction is today's reality. 8|

Ooooo!! I've suddenly got an inspiration for a TT helmet design. :D

Here's the bottom bracket area. I'm still trying to get some contact info for the company. Anybody got anything?

Oh my God... That thing is FIERCE. Wicked. Me wants. Give us the precious.

khuon 09-05-06 09:20 PM

I like the frame but I think they should have gone with a curved fork design instead of straight one.

Serpico 09-05-06 09:27 PM

they deleted my post  so I'll say it again

that thing is CRIMINAL!

if you are contemplating this frame--get thee to an eye doctor, you need a new prescription

:D

I agree. But I think they made the fork match the seat tube. I think the design works. If they made the fork curved then they would have to make the seat tube curved and the whole thing would end up looking like a cross between a kuota and a pinarello.

Dead Roman 09-05-06 10:22 PM

how are we getting all these pics and no contact info?

ViperZ 09-05-06 10:31 PM

I have to say I don't mind it for some strange reason, and I'm not a fan of the S-Works beacher look, not for a road bike at least.

bike4food 09-05-06 10:48 PM

Hey now! Whatcha got against curved seat tubes? ;)

Seriously though, I know what you mean. A curved seat tube might be a bit over the top. But I still think a curved fork would have worked fine.

Patriot 09-05-06 10:56 PM

What I find so interesting, and refreshing about the latest in cf frames, is the use of curves and lines in the desigfn. Carbon fiber is finally starting to allow th eengineers and designers to truly utilize its characteristics in creating not just functional racing machines, but artistic expressions as well.

The lines in alot of the new bikes almost have a retro '50's look to them with the curved tubing and stays of the old cruisers with balloon tires. :D

P.S. I like the wheels.
