Show us your indoor training area

I just got an indoor trainer and am pretty impressed with it's performance. I parked it in front of my TV and did a 30 minute Intervals DVD workout yesterday. It was pretty nice and I was sweating so much I had to go buy a rubber mat today. I'm curious how others train indoors and whether anyone has a 10' projector screen to get a "simulator" effect. Hehe. Here is mine:

That's just nice! What is that, 42" at least?

If its your first time on the trainer, check out that rear tire from time to time. The soft ones shed rubber like no one's business. My Hutchinson's had rubbed flat in about 25 miles.

Its a 50" Pio. Yeah, I'm going to put on my commuter wheels with Gatorskins when on the trainer. I wanted the picture to be pretty so I left my nicer wheels on :) I just hope my cats don't get a wise idea and try to play with the wheel while its moving.

Nice setup. Continental makes a trainer tire that doesn't "shed".

Op, Nice set up, but I would HIGHLY recommend a fan to keep cool and to keep the sweat down.

PFFfff.... take it like a man and sweat it out! Actually, you burns more calories if you're hotter so depending on what type of workout you're doing you may want to be a little warmer, like on recovery rides, helps you burns just that tad bit more energy, while still letting the legs take it easy.

I'd take a pic of mine but i'm tired, and lazy, and my back hurts, and my shoulder is screwed up.... but my tv is bigger then yours :)

Hahaha....awesome. Thanks for the tips and it seems I'll be purchasing one of those Conti tires in the near future. Thanks for the heads up.

wow that is one nice setup you got...

I prefer the garage with a old 19" TV...usually just warmup until my body is warm enought to continue outside

I have my trainer down in my basement with a dehumidifier so it gets pretty hot as it is! :)

Here's my setup:

That's right, I don't have a trainer setup... yet! I expect this to be my first "trainer winter". I like to ride year round but there are some days when it's not happening (say, during a blizzard for example :D).

OK... You win... Yours is nicer... What can I say, I hate riding indoors...

Not really a 10 footer, but 85" (best I could do in the space I had). ;)

The pole really isn't too bad when on the bike.

PS. Hey x43x, my wife says you must not be married.

Okay here is mine, and before anyone asks, no I don't leave the HED3's on, just had it that way after an event.

I use the double aerobar setup because UMCA has an annual indoor challenge, and this way I can ride and work. I have done numerous 4 hour, 6 hour, and even one 9 hour session that way.

I don't have a shot with the bike on the rollers but here is where I ride when I can't get away or the weather isn't to great out. It's a 92"... biggest I could go with my space and budget. :)

I dim the lights a bit and watch HDTV, action DVDs, and lately the 2004 and 2005 Giro D'Italia. The only problem has been when something pans quickly from one side to the other I tend to lose control a bit. I haven't fallen yet but I've been close.

I haven't spent much cash on this hobby lately as the Bicycles have been taking my cash :D

Between the stable of bikes you have and that nice HT setup can I just say, "I want your job!" ;)
