How many EXTRA CASSETTES do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How many EXTRA CASSETTES do you have?

Along the same line as my EXTRA wheelset thread, for those with more than one wheelset, do you have more than one cassette as well?

Or do you simply take off the same cassette and move it to the wheels you're gonna use that day?

Just wondering what the preferred practice is. Thanks.

6 total:

2 X 11-21 for crits and TTs
2 X 11-23 for most training and hilly road races
2 X 12-25 for mountain roads (races or rides)

Why two of each? One for the primary race wheels on race day and one for the spare wheels (wheel pit or wheel vehicle). Back when freewheels (vs. cassettes) were cheap I had a lot more.

Right now I have a 12-25 and a 11-21. Converting to campy so getting rid of the 12-25 (almost worn out) and probably selling the 11-21

But, I'll be buying a 11-21, 11-23, and a 12-25. Probably get a second 11-23 and 12-25 like Cleave for spare wheels.
