Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I vote we make a sticky with this thing so people stop posting new threads about a video that has been arounf for years.

Broken Social Scene greater than the original G N R soundtrack? Not likely.

Brunelle should get a royalty every time someone posts this....

You either need to get faster, or start smoking crack. Sounds like you've tried the latter. Perhaps the former will help?

give me a break!!!! GnR's???? living in the past dude...

I'm not talking about the relative GREATNESS of the music. I'm talking about the music as a SOUNDTRACK for THIS piece of video.

But hey, if BSS, Belle & Sebastian & Bright Eyes get your blood pumping, have at it!

What's amazing is how many of the cars, cabbies and pedestrians stopped in their tracks for these cyclist. I don't think that's going to happen all the time everyday. Sombody will run them over soon

As for the soundtrack, the new one adds a dreamy state to it, but I liked the GnR version better as it had more edge and was more suited to the mood of the ride.

The original one has some pot smoking guy at the start too I think....

*Added

Watched the original one (on my HD), yep had the Pot smoking rider at first, more footage and a good version of Johnny B Good playing.
